Flowing through the seasons

Summer- June, July, August
Summer really sees the field begin to pump out flowery goodies.
The bulbs have finished and the annuals start to take over the field- think flowers such as spikey larkspur, frilly sweetpeas and picture perfect cosmos.
The colour selection is at its best now and British flowers really can't be beaten during these months.

Spring-

March, April and May welcome the first of the much awaited blooms.

The dazzling beauty of Tulips, the delicate nature of Ranunculus and the uplifting faces of Anemones bring joy in these earlier months.

We also start to see the early hardy annuals that have endured winter.

Spring really is a time for embracing the new, and leaping head first into the season.
Autumn- September, October
In Autumn the flowers really get the fall message and deliver oranges, bronzes and bold colours.
The flowers that dominate are dahlias, rudbeckia, chrysanthemums and the last of the annuals.
It is sometimes still possible to be picking flowers in late October and into November, but every season can be so different depending on what the weather holds for us.
